Chiropractic Techniques

We work with a range of techniques, but none exclusively. Primarily a hands-on manual technique practice (Diversified/Gonstead). We are able to accommodate many of the mechanically assisted or low force techniques as required - Activator, ArthroStim, Drop Piece/Thompson, SOT and AK for those people that prefer it. We appreciate that other chiropractors use certain techniques specifically and do our best to accommodate visiting patients with methods they are used to, or respond well to.

Dr Steve doesn't typically do oil based massage. He does work on the soft tissue structures of your body, as required, and has many years experience in providing specific trigger point and therapeutic soft tissue techniques targeted toward health outcomes.

Personal and Professional Interests
Dr. Steve takes a special interest in ergonomics when it comes to the way we interact with our world around us - from improving spinal posture at work and at home, driving and car seat positioning, he is available to discuss your needs either in the office, or can arrange a time to view the area you wish to improve posture in.

He has a keen interest in supporting athletes to reach their optimum spinal health, actively supporting local athletes in the Tatts Finke Desert Race, Alice Springs Masters Games, Tennis, Golf, Touch Football, Beach Volleyball and others.

Dr Steve has experience treating musculoskeletal conditions commonly occurring in young children and with two teenage boys of his own at home, is well versed in communicating with children.

In his spare time, Dr Steve loves the outdoors, is an enthusiastic mountain bike rider, avid 4WDer, and has recently been enjoying the challenge of mastering the perfect sourdough bread loaf.
